HAPPY BIRTHDAY WRIGLEY!!!

Little does he know what's to come!

And here's his big boy photo (that I meant to post earlier)

I also meant to add a little poem on here for Wrigley but it'll have to wait while I take care of the 2.3 gagzillion things I need to do right now. One of them being call the vet because poor Wrigs has been throwing up every morning for 4 days. I've googled his symptoms and what the throw up looks like (yellow foamy bile stuff, sort of like Egg beaters eggs when you pour them into the skillet) and it could be anything from a hungry tummy to stomach cancer. He's lost 8 pounds in a very short time and we thought it was due to his metabolism kicking in but we want to make sure that it's not serious. He's not lethargic or weak but after he throws up he hides his head in my legs and shivers. I love this sweet noodle face soooo much.

WTF?! That doesn't sound good. Even if he's throwing from something benign, it's still a disgusting mess you have to clean up. I didn't share with you last week you darling furnephew's "issue," but he shit and pissed all over my kitchen for about 3 days. I woke up to it every morning, and came from school to it every afternoon!! And not just in one spot, but literally ALL OVER MY KITCHEN!!! Earlier in the week, I made some edamame, and had thrown the pods in the garbage, which he promptly got into the next day. He ingested about a pound of pods (ok, maybe not a pound, but a lot!) and then had the shits for days!!!

Wrig's 'baby picture' is so damn cute!! What a little fluffball! Happy Birthday, Wrigs!!

I just love how he's loungin' on his comfortable bed of SHOWER CURTAINS.

I swear one day they'll do a news story on how the 4 of us were found dead due to toxic levels of plastic fumes from a houseful of shower curtains!

So Wrigs is heading to the doc this afternoon. He can't even escape a visit on his birthday! Poor guy. He's averaging bi-monthly vet visits now.

Oh and I told Tom about your OFFER (kbl) and our discussions about Chum and Wrigs and after he knocked himself unconscious he asked, "Does she want him now???" (meaning Chum of course). You guys can see what you'd be getting into on Saturday and no hard feelings if you need to opt out. We'd make sure he'd come equipped with a lifetime supply of shower curtains and an all access pass to hang with Belov-Ed in the Man Cave!!

Ooooh, good luck Wrigs! I've said a prayer that all will be well and it'll be the diagnosis we are all hoping for....that you simply need to quite snacking on your big bro's poopie bits!

Sadie had the yellow bile throw up in the morning when I first got her. She was right around a year old at the time. The vet said it was due to, like you said, an empty stomach. I made sure and gave her a little snack before bedtime for several days and I've never had any problems since. Keep us updated on what they say.

Thanks so much for your birthday wishes and concern for Wrigs. The vet wasn't overly concerned with his weight loss and I'm going to give him snacks in the evening in hopes that fills his tummy til morning. We're hoping it's just a hungry tummy and from what Mindy said about Sadie, it sounds like it might be.

He ate a LOT today so I'm pretty confident he'll be ok tomorrow.
