My favorite room.

I'm sitting here in my favorite room and this is my view. Eva Cassidy's playing on i-tunes, the breeze blows in the scent of jasmine and orange, and I'm enjoying a glass of wine. I'm just sitting here with my 2 beasts lying close by, taking in the beauty with all my senses.

That is a great view! When I knew we were moving I looked at our house and the rooms and views with a totally different eye. Knowing I would no longer be able to enjoy these things really flipped me out. But I didn't ever really look back and feel sad when we left. What happened to me was that I dreamed constantly, for about 8 months, of our old house and the new owners. The dreams always involved them changing something that I would be envious of. Things I would kick myself for, for not having thought of myself. Like a staircase in the middle of the bedroom, which would have been impossible. It was always something far fetched. The dreams stopped as soon as we started construction here. I hope your experience is one of a positive nature... that your rooms and views in your new place will be every bit as wonderful. And with your handsome guy, Chumley and Wrigley, how could they not?

I can see why that's your favorite room - so much light! I hope the move goes smoothly and you can find a room you like as much in the new house.

Thank you my encouraging friends. I do love the way the light pours into the room. I should take a picture in the morning when the sun is directly overhead. Some mornings (if I'm hungover) I need sunglasses in there!

And Laurie the dreams have been getting more bizarre each night. I'll have to post last night's dream. Crazy how our "sleeping mind" is never really sleeping.

That is really beautiful..... I love moments like that, where all your senses are being delighted simultaneously and you have such a feeling of peace and happiness wash over you. Life doesn't get much better than that.

I'm sure you will find a special place like that in your new home as well.

Remember.... positive thoughts...

That room is very inviting, love the view...the only view I have is of the paranormal/alien research center which is located across the street from where I live. Let me tell you, the lady that runs the place does NOT have a sense of humor about her work.
