6 more days

And I will be home.

This is a shot of our old neighborhood. Our house was just a couple blocks from the water. It was breathtaking in the winter time - snow dusting in the mountains, but 70+ degrees and sunny down below. I am horribly home sick and afraid I may not be able to get back on that plane for my return. I want to enjoy the short time I will have there but there's already a knot in my stomach when I think about having to say goodbye, again.

Day by day.

That picture looks gorgeous...almost NOT real. I would have a hard time leaving there too. I hope you enjoy yourself and get plenty of sunshine...maybe even a bit of a burn to take home with you. :)

Wow... that is really gorgeous... I can see why you would be having a very tough time being away from that.

Is your old house still empty and on the market? If so, you could temporarily "move in" and be squatters there??

I'm kidding of course (sort of).
:-)

Seriously though... enjoy your time back in OC. And remember: life is full of SEASONS... this season in your life, you live in Seattle. But it's not forever. I'm sure, one day, you will find yourself living in Orange County again. Keep visualizing it, and it will happen. Power of positive thinking, my friend!

That is an amazing photo. Yes, I would have a hard time leaving that combination of qualities, too.
I'm thrilled that you get to go back and visit. I hope that all of your Cali-buddies will surround you with love so that you can store up enough to face the trip back to your WA-home. But first, enjoy each moment for its own sake. Love from over here.

It looks gorgeous there. In March next year, A friend and I are heading to Laguna for Vacation! I have never been to CA so it will be the first for me. Have fun and enjoy your trip back home while it last.
